Hi. I'm Nicolas. I live in North Providence, RI. I grew up in the Framingham, MA area in a then-small town called Hopkinton. My hometown is best known as being the start of the Boston Marathon, and where that internet porn-starved Brit killed his wife and kid in a rented house in 2005. Other than that, lots of tree nurseries and bored town cops.
I'm particularly fond of the Providence, RI area. About 6 or 7 years ago a friend and I ventured down to Provtown for a drink or ten on a whim. We had come to the harsh realization that Boston really sucks. The rest is history. I fell in love with the city and the area... and the college women... and my goal was set. Move to Providence.
So I did. I've been in NPRI since July, 2005. Unfortunate thing is that I work 65 miles away still, so the commute and gasoline bills are pretty outrageous. Sobeit. Must facilitate lifestyle. Must.
Within months of moving to Providence, my beloved car was totalled. In the event that you're not aware, RI drivers have been determined to be the worst drivers in the country. This study is accurate.
I drive on the highway day and night to and from work and there's never an incident. I drive on the secondary streets of Providence at 20 MPH and WHAM. A pickup T-boned me and the car was junk. No injuries besides the obvious to the car, and to the iced coffee that was in the center console. Because insurance is so expensive, I dropped collision 3 months previous to save a little money. Ugh. Talk about misfortune.
Such is life.
I am a "musical dabbler". Not quite a musician, as I'm a hobbyist hack, but I do play a few different styles of music. The object of the majority of my musical focus is
VINCULUM TERMINATII
which is classified as melodic doom metal. Heavy and somber music with prevalent harmonies and melodies. I also, quite randomly, do ambient music. I say "do" because it's not really "played". It's OK stuff, I guess.

I also have a couple death metal "projects", and I play triangle for Yngwie Malmsteen's band in the offseason. They come over to hang out and I sit there and play the triangle for them. No, I'm not serious.
I am a fan of baby Ike from South Park. I smirk a lot. I prefer yellow mustard. I even eat it on prime rib. I've never lost an arm wrestling tournament. Then again, I've never won an arm wrestling tournament, either. And I've never lost an arm. I saw one in the road after a car accident on prom night, though.
I apparently grew an inch in the past two years. Energy drinks drive my delightful psychosis. I don't like Jagermeister. At all. I will drink it with beautiful women, however. I prefer hyper-premium vodka. It's worth the money. I cook. Not super gourmet, but not Chefboyardee, either. I refuse to eat at Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, etc. because there is no substitute for real Italian. Or real Italians. I really like when men hate me. It's funny.
I love beautiful women. I know a ton of them. More than my share. I find most men to act silly and I don't share too many interests with them, well, besides women. I'm usually overdressed. I've been told I'm charming. I'm not very tall. I shudder when I'm called a "pimp" or a "ladies man" or a "womanizer". Those titles carry negative connotations. Most men like that are lying pieces of shit that have no regard for anyone but themselves. I am definitely not like that. However, I am wonderfully intolerant. I'm very headstrong. I refuse to be insulted or disrespected by someone - blatantly - and give them another chance to do it again. Life's too short to endure someone's bullshit, especially when it's unwarranted.
