Never Existed: Civil War Lands

About Me

Welcome to this most important of pages. First of all, this page is run by three folk. Nice to meet every single one of you!
I'd suggest subscribing to the blog as we will be putting up areas which are in danger/already built upon - this will be done by state, so up to 50 blogs just for that, Folks. We'll also post fundraisers, shows and so forth to keep you all informed.
We got inspired to put together a page to give people the quickest resources to find websites and so on to help in the preservation of land, homes and so on that have to do with the War Between the States/Civil War.
What got me incensed was the fact that the default picture is a 7-11: the site very, very near where Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain was nearly killed, now in the midst of commercially developed area. He lost a ton of blood right in that area where those people are filling up their gas tanks.
There is no plaque, nothing to let anyone know what transpired there.
If anyone has any before/after pictures of battlesites and so on, please do send them into our mailbox and we will post them up on the albums with your name as thanks.
the way to send a picture via inbox is:
don't forget to include the .gif, .jpg, etc.
