NAHUMA (means one of princely ways) Nahuma R. Holiday is a native Houstonian born in the funk era. At the tender age of six he began to explore his musical abilities by learning to first play the melodica then moving on to the violin. Throughout his educational career he acquired training in music reading, writing and appreciation including the cello, French horn, trumpet and later mastering the tuba on a collegiate level. He has studied under Mr. Hundle, Erwin Portis, Ronald Thornton, prof. Herman Lee, and prof. Edwards and Philips at Prairie View A&M University.
Huma has always been a showman on the stage since early plays and talent shows to placing in the top 3 out of 136 rappers in the 05’ Sony showcase given by a A&R from Sony. Former Houston artist “Hawk†said it was the most original and hardest performance he had seen yet.
This producer/artist has featured on albums by Se7en, Jneiro Jarel, Khujo Goodie, Southern Fried Ent., Pigg Penn and Track House produced by P-Rod who also produced tracks for Mary J. Blige, Zero etc.
This new generation needs and hungers for a new innovative, courageous completely modern artist/producer/musician that caters to the likes of all heads from hip-hop, rock, crunk, pop, classical and where ever this movement can take our progressions. He is the future of young music, no doubt!
