Emit has 4 members: Lee (vox/gtr/songbird), Rob (gtr/vox/geek), Dave (bass/vox/manchester) and Dan (drums/vox/insults).

The members of Emit first met in Derby at university but the band was born in London where they now reside. Lee and Rob bumped into each-other at a Mars Volta gig in 2004 and the band started soon after.
