So many miles to go

About Me

I am always ready for a new adventure. I am more ready to run the Chicago marathon than you are ready for Friday to come. I have coaxed my boyfriend, best friend and her husband to join me in running the Austin half marathon, none of which have ever run that far in one day or probably thought they would ever want to.I live for the next vacation and I work only so that I can play. Don't mistake that statement for me not having any drive. I have plenty, but I don't think I have to justify my drive through work. I love my two cats, Izzy and Kalypso, and my boyfriend, Craig. I also love Big 12 football and have season tickets to see Mizzou play.I don't love crying or poorly behaved little bald people, people who don't give you the courtesy wave when you let them in front of you while you're driving and people who are small minded.

My Interests

Running, University of Missouri (or even Big 12) football, lifting, hiking, backpacking, skiing, reading, The Office and Grey's Anatomy, concerts, traveling, my kitties (Izzy and Kalypso)...And did I mention I have a huge soft spot in my heart for large dogs? :-)

I'd like to meet:

Whoever invented the diets for Weight Watchers because I have met so many people that it worked for who look phenomenal now!

Music:

Love The Killers, Frank Sinatra, OAR, Jack Johnson, John Mellencamp, and a bunch of 80s as well.

Movies:

The Good Shepard, Wedding Crashers, The Sweetest Thing, 40 Year Old Virgin, Borat, Top Gun, and Old School.

Television:

The Office, The Biggest Loser and Grey's Anatomy.

Books:

Unfortunately I haven't read a book in awhile, but I read up on current events on CNN.com and I am an avid reader of Runner's World magazine. I love to read books, but I haven't found a great author in awhile.

Heroes:

Me. Sounds a little cocky, but you can't put someone up on a pedestal because you will always be let down. No one is perfect. I am constantly surprising myself and pushing my limits. Why not be your own hero?
