JBoY, Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area being influenced by all music and cultures that this melting pot provided, from the age of eight, he began participating in music programs and countywide competitions.
As he grew older, he took an interest into rap, putting together his own lyrics and mixed tapes with friends. (Also Producing hip-hop and Electronic music) After experimenting as a lyricist, he joined San Francisco based Salsa Band “Adelante†during his senior year in school, playing the trumpet with the group for a little over one year.
Soon after graduating from high school, he moved to Los Angeles where he worked on his singing skills, traveling, performing, learning instruments and song structure. It was there where he was first introduced to Reggaeton music.
In returning to the Bay Area, he took a step back from singing and went back to producing Dance and Trance music (being reintroduced to it a few years back by a friend). In 2006 he put his efforts into becoming a trance Dj which then turned to a Hip-Hop/Reggaeton Dj.
Music was a hobby for this young man until the beginning of 2007 when he then decided to take music seriously and pursue it as a career.
Now in the process of working on new projects and with new groups that have been set in motion for 2008,there is no telling how many hits he will he come up with and there is definitely no stopping him.
