About Me

what can i say.... i'm small.... ginger..... and sometimes described as being loud (gee thanks chris).... i love life, music, having a good time, meeting people.... oh an playing with fire.... live in portmouth... but miss the cold up north from time to time. i have high ideals and this can sometimes lead to me being disapointed. i don't like frankfurters or pizza. some would say i am a fussy eater although i would beg to differ. i just know what i don't like and therefore don't eat it. makes perfect sense to me. by day i work in a bank and hoping one day to be a drama teacher...

My Interests

dancing, playing with fire, more dancing. stand up comedy ( the watching of it, not too good at the delivery of it meself). random car trip missions ( god i miss my baby car orville. blub) and more dancing.

Music:

generally known as being a bit of drum and bass girl.... (andy c is god!). apart from that rate the prodigy as being my fave band. love daft punk and all forms of alternative dance.... except for garage, which there is quite frankly no excuse for ever. also love the eighties glam metal, such as gnr and motley crue, skid row (NOT roe thanks to everyone who pointed that one out to me..... i'm dyslexic ok?) also quite a big dolly parton fan... no arguments, the woman just rocks!! tracy champan is also a fave of mine... like the mellowness others also include, cassius, damien marley, and you people shoudld check out lynx.

Movies:

love gangster films, specially the godfather part 2. but they are all good. also a fan of the new british genre of gangster films... much amusement, love the heavy involvement of cups of tea by the characters to portray that extra sense of englishness. but its true. also love french films, such as amelie, a very long engagement, delicatessan. the are very beautiful cinematically and just a little bit quirky. which appeals to me. another favourite film of mine is the interstellar 555's which is a collaboration between some japanese manga dude (whose name eludes me at this particular moment) and daft punk. the are no spoken words or subtitles. its basically a manga film that uses the discovery album as it's mucis. both are interwoven in such an acomplished manner, making it one of my most favourite films to watch as it always cheers me up and makes me smile. also rate hotel rwanda, and life is beautiful, it never fails to make me cry ( but in a good way)

Television:

love cutting it!!!!! hairdressing drama.... it just does'nt get any better.. also neighbours..... by far and way one of the best television programmes ever made..... although susan an karl really need to be back together!!

Books:

love anything and everything by louis de berniere. he describes the human chgaracter with such beauty. also gabriel garcia marquez, love the hispanic vibe.... aslo christopher brookmyre for the sarcastic scottish viewpoint on life. also being into the drama shakespeare is a key man... his knowledge of all depths of the human psyhce....
