So alive... and still aching for more...

About Me

I spend a ton of my time in a computer lab. But I still love people more than anything and am trying to remember that human interaction is way more important than any machine. I have amazing friends, a great family, and an awesome boyfriend. I am an extreme optimist and I think life is so beautiful that I have a tough time trusting God that something even more beautiful will happen when I die.
One of my favorite things in the world is seeing shows, especially Broadway. Shows I've seen: Guys and Dolls, Wicked, Hairspray, Lion King, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, RENT. So spectacular, all.
I also keep a list of all the bands I've seen live. I think I've seen over 50 concerts and over 100 bands live. I'm sort of a nerd like that.
Yes, I know Global Night Commute is over. But the video is still pretty mad sweet, and it IS my music video debut. Other than that, I got tired of my profile so I'll write one when I need a good procrastination project.

PS... I AM 20 years old. If you have a problem with me or anything I write on here... you COULD just talk to me about it. I'm not trying to offend anyone, I promise.

My Interests

Africa, talking to other people and explaining why I am passionate about Africa, freaking out about how much I love life, Jesus because He redeems all things, thrift-storing, freshmen and watching how much they mature by the end of the year, theater (mostly musicals, but anything really), falling asleep reading, falling asleep anywhere (except in class. I hate that but do it anyways.), learning languages (Spanish, Java, C, C++, I know. Want to learn ASL, German, Italian, French, and... anything else anyone wants to teach me), learning about people, baseball, running through the eucalyptus groves, soft-serve ice cream, the view out my dorm window, Google, nuzzing, Dance Dance Revolution, Coastline, procrastination, bright sneakers, bright colored anything, snapple pink lemonade, buying books that I won't have time to read for at least a year, Christmas, eating lots of sugar (but not chocolate. mostly stuff with lots of pure sugar and food dye.
