The Coupe De Villes

About Me

____________________________________________________________ ________ We are proud to say that The Coupe De Villes was formed in 1984 & are not only bandmates, but "brothers" that have not only withstood the test of time, but have evolved & flourished. We have recorded 4 Full Length albums filled with originals - "Tuff Life", "Burning Blues", "Blues For You" & Burnin' Live at Witr". These CDs can all be ordered directly from our website, www.coupedevilles.com except "Tuff Life", which is currently out of stock. Two of our original songs, "Time For You To Pay" & "Dream & Get Lucky" have won Certificates of Achievement from Billboard Magazine. Our original song, "Tuff Life" was incorporated into HBO's Comic Relief to benefit our American Homeless in 1990 & 1992 following Whoopi Goldberg's recommendation. In 1990 we took home 3rd place honors in Memphis at the International Blues Festival. We have had the pleasure of opening for or backing up many great artists over the years including B.B. King, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Former Rolling Stones Guitarist, Mick Taylor who performs live on our original song "So Many Reasons", which is on our cd "Burning Blues", Chris Duarte, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Carla Thomas, Delbert McClinton, Edgar Winter, Popa Chubby, The Uppity Blues Women, Roomful of Blues, Duke Jupiter, Bettye Lavette, PeeWee Ellis, The Beach Boys, Little Feat, James Cotton, American Idol's 2nd Place Winner Bo Bice, Gina Sicilia, Dr. John, Rickie Lee Jones & many more. We've travelled as far south as Memphis, west to Indianapolis (Thanks Jim for the Limo Ride to Indianapolis-We'll never forget the great time that we had!), north into Canada & east to New York City. We currently have been concentrating our venues around a 150 mile radius from Rochester, NY._____________FOR BOOKINGS: Contact Tommy at our 24 hr. hotline 585.234.1639 or [email protected] Check out CoupeDeVilles.com for our extensive Bio & Gallery.
