This site is dedicated and a tribute to all those that helped make downtown Kansas City, Missouri a desired destination, not only for those in the metro area, but for those around the entire nation who visit this wonderful city.
Kansas City pride is in all of us who have supported the revitalization of the downtown area since the very first proposal. Now there is finally a place for all of us to come together and celebrate this pride 365 days a year.
So yes, Kansas City is once again back on the map, but it wasn’t any one person, company, or organization that made this possible. It was everyone involved directly or indirectly. It doesn’t matter if you sat a planning commission board, voted for this in an election, or just drove downtown to take a look for yourself, all of us made this possible.
You are Kansas City if you live north of the city, south of the city, or in the heart of the city. You are Kansas City if you live on the Missouri side or on the Kansas side. You are Kansas City if you live as far away as possible but still consider this city your home.
TOGETHER WE ARE KANSAS CITY!
I want to meet anyone and everyone who is proud to live and around Kansas City. Anyone who is excited to know that Kansas City will once again be in the national spot light many times through out the year.
I hope this page can one day grow to be one that many people check to see what's going on in around Kansas City.
