My father, a traditional Master Musician, Singer and Dancer came to the States in 1987 to perform at Lincoln Center and has preformed around the World both as a solo artist and in collaboration with many other great artists including Peter Gabriel, Don Cherry, Paula Cole and Randy Weston, to name a few. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY. My mother grew up in Ohio and currently owns a small chain of clothing boutiques. I have lived in New York, Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and California.
