Custom Countdowns & MySpace LayoutsI am a grandmother of three (3) precious little boys, Weston, Keegan and Wyatt and (2) little girls, Kierstyn Riley, and my baby girl, Mckenzie Grace. I have a daughter and son in law, April and Jeremy and a son and daughter in law, Wesley and Candace. I love sewing and french hand embroidery, knitting, baby sitting, listening to the Jon Waldon show on WDJC and Rick and Bubba, listening to gospel music and country music. I love going to church and most of all, I love God with all of my heart. Jesus Christ is the reason I have a home in heaven waiting for me whenever my name is called. I have blue eyes, blond hair, 5' 7". Rev Wes is my son and I am so very proud of him and his wife, Candace and their son, Keegan and daughter Kierstyn. Rev Wes is an ordained minister of The Church of God and is the youth minister at Dilworth Church of God. I am especaially proud of him and the way he lets God move in his life and the way he leads all of those kids that truly love God.My daughter, April and Jeremy have 2 sons, Weston and Wyatt and are expecting a new baby girl, Mckenzie "Grace" Ashlynn. Her name is not Grace, but, since her mother would not name her Grace like I asked her to do, I call her "Grace". These 3 little boys and 2 little girls are the apples of my eyes.I love going to the beaches of Florida, preferably Fort Walton and Panama City, although I love Gulf Shores, AL too. I love laying on the sand and watching the waves come in and out. I love beautiful sunsets and would love to see the sun come up if it would come up later in the day, but, with the right person, I could be talked into getting up EARLY to see it. I think I have found that person. He is a sweetie!I love going to Pigeon Forge, TN, riding to Cades Cove and on into Cherokee and Maggie Valley, NC. I just love the mountains anywhere, any time. I enjoy camping in the spring and could be talked into a camping trip with the sweetest man ever and his horse.I love the beach and would love to travel the coast line with my special new man in my life--he lights up my life. I would love to go out west to California's Red Wood Forests, and then on to Oregan and over to Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and so on. I would love to take a motorcylce trip out west and stay gone for about 1 month. LOL I have seen the Grand Canyon. It is pretty, but I would never want to go there again, UNLESS, a special person wanted to see it with me, then I would go, in a heartbeat! Once you have seen it, it all looks like the postcards, but, I didn't see it all, so who knows, I am a woman, and I am entitled to change my mind. The best part of my out west trip was seeing my dear friend Gina and her family that I had not seen in 12 years.I have 2 brothers and 4 sisters, a loving mother and my daddy has gone on to be with Jesus. I had a very loving and close family and we were alway singing gospel songs. We went to church every Sunday. We were taught about Jesus at a very young age and I remember walking down that long aisle with my daddy to the alter to give my heart to Jesus at age 10 and later on being baptised. I was washed in the blood not just dipped! I wouldn't take anything for those happy memories. We attended Sumiton Church of God back then and loved it.I attend Dilworth Church of God and love the way our church lets God "show up and show out".My favorite color is R E D and some day I want to own a little red sports car, and a red SUV to carry my grandbabies with me if I want to load all 5 up---LOL---that would be a sight to see! I could also take long trips in it.. I would love to learn to ride a motorcycle some day and, like they say, "you're never too old to learn". I am currently pondering the thought about riding a horse again, but, I need to get off my butt and start exercising to get into a little bit of shape, FIRST, in the meantime, I will get acquainted with horses. I am and have always been a cowgirl at heart, I just never really had the chance to be one. Life has a way of holding you back from things you really would like to be and being the shy person I always was, it really held me back ALOT! Things have changed for me in the last year all for the better. I am happier than I have ever been in my life and I believe God has given me a little bit of heaven on earth to make up for all of the hell I have gone through in my life all because of bad choices I have made in my life. I am determined to have fun for the rest of my life no matter how long that may be. Life is short and sweet and we should make the best of it and that is exactly what I intend to do. I love myself for a change and I love my family and friends and of coarse, first, God who without Him, I would be a mear nothing. I wake up in the mornings now with a smile on my face and thank God for another beautiful day to live and love him for all he has done for me and for the people he has put into my life. I am truly blessed, even if I had nothing, I have him. What else could I want..............well, there is a few things. Good things come to those that wait on the Lord.My best friends are Teresa McKinney and my sisters, Carrol, Susan, Jane and Patti and Gina Singletary and Ann Davis.You are only as old as you feel and the grandchildren make me feel very young. They are my world. I am also a member of WOW--Women Of Worship--but have not been able to go to a few meetings. They are on fire for God.
