The school library had lack of textbooks and reference books.Due to the newly growth in population, an increased amount of students is attending the school which means our schools resources are far too stretched and many students are without text books because of poverty. The teachers have lack of reference books. In this project we are developing and expanding the school library with text books,reference material and reading books (Nepali & English).
The school would like to equip the library with extremely necessary textbooks for the students and reference books for the teachers. We would like to buy furniture for keeping books safely in the library. We will have to get our librarian trained about how to manage the library very well.
Since the students have lack of textbooks the teachers have been dictating all the information to the students the school result is not satisfactory. In English language he/ she has to write almost all the exercises on the board. And the students copy from the board. Since there is lack of reference books the teachers have to depend on the textbooks most of the time. So we are thinking about how to equip the library with necessary textbooks and reference materials."
