About Me

Not much to say. I'm living and working in Melbourne. I love my job, the weather's fantastic, and life is good.

Trivia:

Kristian: Scandinavian and Finnish form of Christian.

The name Christian is derived from the Latin christianus which is derived from the Greek christianos meaning literally "follower of the annointed one". In medieval England it was a feminine name. It is possible that it came to be used as a masculine name due to the success of The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come by John Bunyan.

Christian is the name of ten kings of Denmark and Kong Kristian is the Danish Royal Anthem. Famous bearers of the name include Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, American actor Christian Slater, French fashion designers Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix, and Dr. Christiaan Barnard who performed the world's first human heart transplant.

Kristian is the #2,030 male name in the United States (not too popular is it). Christian, however, is #236.
