About Me

Victoria is from a small town in West Virginia where she resides with her husband and two children. She begin playing the piano and singing at the age of four, shortly after a life-threatening illness. Her mom testifies to everyone that God had a plan for Victoria and He did, it was through music. Her father was a Church of God Pastor and was pleased to have his little girl play the piano for the congregation, even though her feet could barely reach the pedals. Her family also sang in various churches throughout her early years serving as a preparation for the future plans that God would have for her. Her dad invited a local singing group to their church and it was in that group that she would find her true love, Davis Johnson. While they were dating, they joined a local quartet and spent weekends going to churches all over West Virginia. They married in 1988 and two years later had their first child, which would end their time with the quartet but would open a whole new part of their lives and their music. They became more involved in their home church (Brownsville Holiness Church) and began searching for a deeper experience with the Lord. It was shortly after the birth of their daughter that Victoria would begin writing songs and record her first project. Later on, a son would be added to the family and the music would grow along with the family. The music that you can hear now is the outcome of a lifetime of experiences, experiences that others just like you may face from day to day. Influences: Our music influences are too numerous to list. Our spiritual and personal influences are family and friends that we've come to know through church. The greatest of all, of course, is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Without Him, there is no life and existence is just that, existing. If you don't know Him, or if you have known Him and turned away, our prayer is that you see Him as the Savior He is and let His mercy fall upon you and His grace restore you.
Sounds Like: Southern gospel with a country twist!!! LOL! Really the sound is simple but the message is heartfelt and true. You'll just have to listen and send us a comment of what you think it sounds like, only keep it nice please. Here is a slide show of our annual youth camp held in June. We've met a lot of wonderful people at BHC and if it be the Lord's will, we hope to meet many more. ..
