MIRACULAS

Jamie Thomas aka Miraculas is a charismatic entertaining showman that is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable names in the music industry today. Born in Erie, Pennsylvania on February 23rd 1988 at Hamot Hospital, Miraculas grew up on the lower east side of the city as the middle child of five with three sisters and one brother. Unlike a lot of people who grow up in inner cities, Jamie was very fortunate to have a great upbringing from a minister father and a devoted Christian mother, Albert and Mary Thomas.
As a young man Miraculas had two main passions, basketball and the lyrical art form known as rap. Throughout high school at East High he did both exceptionally well and became known throughout the city as the best when it came to both of his passions. He also managed to excel in academics maintaining a 3.65 GPA throughout all of his schooling. After graduating high school, he decided to put basketball aside and concentrate on his education and music. Jamie enrolled in Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, but after 3 semesters dropped out to pursue his ultimate passion of creating Hip-Hop music.
Miraculas started out rapping at the tender age of eleven when he heard his cousin, Jermaine Lewis aka Smoove Fangaz, spittin' lyrics on the local street corner. From there Jamie was hooked on Hip-Hop and at that moment in time Miraculas was born. Jamie also had a huge influence from his father, who before he devoted his life to God, was a local DJ and rapper. This just fueled the fire to make Miraculas work harder on becoming the best Hip-Hop artist he could be.
Miraculas also had the influences of great industry talent as well. He grew up listening to greats like Michael Jackson, Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Notorious B.I.G., Ludacris and Cassidy. Whether it was someone he knew or someone who he looked up to in the industry, Miraculas studied the game hard and has developed a stand out talent that is all his own. There is no doubt that with the dedication, passion, and talent that Miraculas posses, there is no question he can leave his mark on the music industry.
