Formed 'Saving Faith' along with lead singer Ant Cryst back in 2006. Played various gigs throughout Devon, Somerset and even the odd one in London. 'Saving Faith' decided to quit in the summer of 2008 with Ant and myself splintering in to 'Stone Cold' before finally re-establishing the band as The Faiths, with all 4 orignial members from Saving Faith. Various sessions later 'The Faiths' are back in a stripped down format with more emphasis on a textured slide guitar sound rather than the fiddle and banjo sound. This time round we have help from a management company and gigs are planned for 2009 to raise money for charity and local causes.
5 songs came from the 'stone cold sober sessions' recorded at Combeshead studios during sept/oct 2008. These are 'Devil Devon Woman', 'Fly With Me', She's Waiting There' 'Winter Song' and 'Little Girl Keep Dancing'.It's still all about having a great deal of fun and making money for local causes. Not interested in self publicity or making a quick buck. It's about putting something back not taking it out! Once I get some time I promise to play drums with BITEWING (promise!!!I really do promise!!!)Thanks to everyone for supporting 'Saving Faith'. We all had an absolute blast and some memorable nights!
