Static Kitten is solo project started by John Brennan in early 2008. Static Kitten focuses on raw live performance and recordings. Set ups included, prepared guitar with multiple pedals/devices and or simple percussion/drumming. All the recordings are first take improvisations that are unedited. In the summer of 2008 Static Kitten toured Europe with Scant Intone, playing festivals and art centers in 7 different countries.The first major release from Static Kitten will be out early this year
