AWE

The art of AWE is a collection of g-rated and x-rated pencil-drawn pictures, digitalized and available in highest-quality prints in limited number. They can be categorized as erotic art in a wider sense. Sometimes they display elements of bestial art or zoophilic art. Basically, they show a dark, “gothic” colouring, mostly without pronounced background motive, putting the focus on the central characters and scene. Pencil work is basically done in realistic or quasi-realistic way, drawn elaborately and with emphasis on detail.
The scenes or motives comprise mythical beasts and anthropomorphic beings (inspired from pagan art of different cultures and times), often engaged in some sexual / mating action, sometimes in an interspecies combination.
The animals are mostly depicted large and muscular, incorporating features of large carnivores as well as heavy herbivores. There is an obvious link to specific mythical beasts, such as dragons (of western / european and Levantine style), griffins or gryphons, large birds (Garuda-like) and basilisks. Some motives show symbolist reminiscences.
