About Me
SADYSSEY / A Sade Tribute is the result of the latest production efforts of Black Ink. Inspired by Black Ink’s heart & soul appreciation of Sade’s artistry and personal character, SADYSSEY is an epic musical journey through some of his personal favorites and Sade’s most revered songs. But what makes this album timeless are traditional jazzy, soulful sounds melodically infused with subtle sprinkles of hip-hop inspired rhythms comprising such legendary Sade tunes as “cherish the day†and “smooth operatorâ€. During a time in world history when economic woes plague many people around the world, Black Ink’s remake of “feel no pain†uses a futuristic urban track laced with an inspirational Tupac like rap bridge to help uplift spirits dealing with such tough circumstances. “Is it a crime†takes Sade’s romantic plea to another level. Haunting melodies and vocals mesmerize the ears with sounds reminiscent of running waterfalls shimmering over luminescent light. This eclectic ride through Sade’s universe is tied together with the album’s final selection – “night talkâ€, a bonus track that provides listeners with an original ballad – significant of Sade’s poetic messages of love and sensuality.Jazzy. Soulful. Timeless. SADYSSEY is coffee for the ears. Freshly brewed with original, organic tunes, it goes down smooth with just enough kick to keep you believing that good soul music lives on.BLACK INK BIOGRAPHY *Black Ink is the mystical entity behind the ascension of today’s urban music.
