Growing up in the late eighties and being exposed to the likes of NWA, PUBLIC ENEMY, ICE T and TONE LOC thanks to his older brother - instantly Evolve knew that an unaltered beast had awoken in his consciousness. It had played on his mind for quite sometime, and by 1998 a decision was made by Evolve to fully immerse himself in the hip hop culture. Years of cutting teeth in Adelaide’s rap scene with a slew of live performances, radio appearances and guest spots Evolve is ready to drop his first LP ‘The Dirt Merchant’.
Evolve is described as an MC that holds nothing back and isn't afraid to confront what society labels as taboo in his content matter. If it's raw, real and means something to him, Evolve will let you know about it. His style is raw, confronting and controversial at times combined with an intelligent word selection mixed with heavy hitting beats and a hardcore rough but concise delivery.

‘The Dirt Merchant’ features a who’s who of Adelaide hip hop production, with beats provided by Trials, K21, Sublime (highly underrated), and Conseps. The guest aren’t limited to production with some heavyweights sharing the mic time with Evolve such as Mortar, Conseps, K21, Sev, Realism and Mids.
Having supported Australian Hip Hop Heavyweights Muph and Plutonic, Pegz, Funkoars, Art of War, After Hours, Reason, Mindfield and Low Budget to name a few, Evolve is certainly no stranger to the live scene and has honed his craft to the point where he is ready to take it that extra step further and make a solid impact on the Australian scene with his new album ‘The Dirt Merchant’.
