Mortuary was formed in 1989 by Mike Trottier in his home town of Calgary, Alberta. The group started with a heavy Thrash sound with influences of Black Metal.
Since then, two albums have been made; one in '89 :"Bloodtrails", the other in '91 :"Act Of War". These two albums were led by vocalist Grave, who later passed away in the mid-90's.
The band is currently active trying to start their latest album with their new vocalist.
