The Mugicians are a Seattle based musical collective performing original hip-hop, reggae, funk, jazz, r&b, and world beats. The Mugicians' improvisational style, infectious beats, and thought provoking lyrics provide an incendiary mix that compels listeners to get physically and mentally involved. Their blend of banging beats, horn melodies, and vocal harmonies incite a positive party atmosphere wherever they are.
Mugicians are a septet composed of drums, bass, guitar, keys, trumpet, sax and vocals. The members' diversity of musical backgrounds fuses into a rare combination that delivers a danceable, mix-tape quality to the music. Mugicians flip, fuse and swap between musical styles with fluidity and ease.
Having played extensively in Seattle and around the Northwest, the Mugicians
already enjoy a home grown fan base spanning all ages and walks of life, and broaden their fan base with every performance. The Mugicians have shared the stage with such notables as Clinton Fearon, Yami Bolo, Cancer Rising and Nuff Sed, and have performed in many respected venues, including Nectar Lounge, Chop Suey, Rendezvous, and Studio 7. The Mugicians have an in house graphic artist, providing attractive posters and flyers for all shows.
