Vi är glada att tillkännage att vårt första släpp kommer att vara helt gratis för nedladdning för alla.
Detta görs som del i vårt manifest att vår musik nu skall vara gratis, oberoende av värderingar från majorskivbolag som distribuerar inte bara musik, utan även vad människor bör, kan och slutligen kommer att lyssna på.
VARFÖR
Genom att släppa vår musik på detta vis har vi möjlighet att själva reglera när, var och hur vår musik skall släppas till dig. Ingen mellanhand. Inget koppel. Ingen censur.
Detta medför att vi förlorar intäkter som vi skulle ha fått på sålda skivor - ungefär 10 % av vad ni betalar till distributörerna av just musik, också kända som skivbolag.
HUR
Så, om vi, tillsammans med våra lyssnare själva distribuerar musiken, genom att skicka vidare länken till vår sida - är det då någon vits med att sälla sig till yttre distributörer, skivbolag, som tar betalt för att sprida musiken till ett pris av både pengar - era liksom våra - och artistisk integritet?
Vi tycker att svaret är klart – vår musik ska vara gratis att ladda ner. En gåva.

WHAT
We are happy to announce that our first release will be for free to everyone to download and enjoy.
This is part of our manifest that our music for now will be for free, independent of the values of the major recordcompanies, giving their opinion of what people should, would and ultimately will listen to.
WHY
By releasing our music in this manner we are able to regulate when, how and where the music shall be released to you. No middle hands. No leash. No censorship.
This given – we will miss out on the fees we would have collected from you buying a CD, about 10% of what you pay the distributors, also known as recordcompanies.
HOW
So we figure – if we, together with the listeners do the distributing ourselves, by forwarding the link to our site, where we offer you free music, is it necessary of having outer distributors, not only collecting the major part of what you pay, but also controlling what we do as artist and when?
The answer seems quite clear – our musical work is for free. A gift.
So – in order to keep us giving you our music – help us spread the news and our addres…

Magna Carta Cartel is a group of swedish musicians, a band, that plays and writes music.Some of the music is instrumental, and some of it is not. All of it is sincere.
Some people say that they sound like Petty, Vangelis, U2 and Moroder all at once, others say that they resemble the sounds of Floyd, Jarre, Oldfield, Morricone and Eno – and some even claims that the band's music sounds like a vacation from the music industry as is!
Band says that ”...music is music, not what gear you tend to use expressing it. Heavily distortion don't say metal, out-of-tune guitar doesn't mean indie. The way of expressing those the musical scores is merely coincidence, PR or lack of sense. The music is what counts. At least in our world. That is the trip for us.”
