Dusk2dawn is a young woman of natural beauty & of a black-Indian decent. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she began her quest for music with a local production company g.t. groove productions affiliated with the renowned phila international music. Contracts surfaced but came undone due to dusks young age and parental unwillingness of her being a signed recording artist. Moving forward, dusk has since left phila. living in Atlanta, California, & now Miami.. lending her raw & seasoned vocals to artists such as speech of arrested development, Omar Epps, & d.j. quicks nite& day c.d. compilation. Miami producers such as marc roofe of m5 productions embraced dusk2dawns lyrical & songwriting gifts, creating two sensationalized tracks titled " un-do "& daughters addiction.
Keeping her talent fresh dusk has appeared on the dharma & Greg show, Keenan ivory wayans show, Damon wayons show, & recently worked on the Miami vice movie set. Currently studying for two years with the anna panoro work shop for TV. radio, & film. Dusk has also studied under the bill dukes actors boot camp for the American black film festival 2005.
From doing live to taped shows for t.v. as well as club/ studio venues dusk has done v.j. work & t.v. hostessing, interviewing artists for Miamis local urban hip-hop shows video mix, & the underground network. Artists include: method man , ghost face killah, raquan, mastah killah, redman, mob deep, smith & wesson, duckdown records, buckshot shorty, mecca grimo, boogah of on point entertainment,.d.j epps of 103.5 the beat & a slew of other d.j.s & up & coming artists.
