About Me

Richard is a Christian who has been serving the Lord and sharing the Gospel all his life. A worship leader and teacher by calling, Byron has been a member of Richard Smallwood with Vision for the past 8 years. He has recorded background vocals for Tre' Thomas The Clark Sisters The Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University Nolan Williams, Jr., Karen Clark Sheard, Donald Lawrence, giving him the amazing opportunity to travel around the world. Besides recording, Richard has worked with Stephen Hurd, Maurette Brown Clark and Ted & Sheri. He also appears on the Warner Brothers epic soundtrack for GODS AND GENERALS and background vocals for R&B diva, Stephanie Mills for two years and continues to develop voices and worship leaders. Byron Nichols and Richard is the Minister of Music at Free Gospel Deliverance Temple in Washington, DC ya know. I live in Atlanta, GA but born & in new york in my faithful city (Apostle Ralph and Dr. Shirley Green) after having spent 8 years under the teaching of Pastor Anthony Moore (Carolina Church, Fort Washington, MD).
