About Me

Well, I was born in East L.A. Yeah, me and Cheech Marin who i met once during a Battle of the Bands back in 1968 in west L.A. California. I couldn't wait to get here, so I was born in a yellow taxi cab. Always on the go. Music was in my blood my mother was a singer with my uncles in a mariachi band. I loved to sing and dance in school as a child I took Ballet classes. So my uncle took me to the producer of The Rocket to Stardom Show to audition in his office. At 7 I was not ready for that a bit too shy, when that big camera was looking at me and the red light came on I just wanted to go home. So glad Im not that shy anymore. I was a hippy in the 60's I lived in Hollywood I had a cool job at the old Hullabaloo Club and got to meet a few bands there The Palace Guard was the house band, The Turtles, The Beach Boys, Buffello Springfield, Wayne Newton he was real nice, Little Richard, Neil Diamond who was dressed in black came out and sang Solitary Man. I see he just became a member the day before me. An old pen pal also came to play at the club a fellow by the name of Ian Witcomb who made the song You turn me on. I also had another great job working at CBS studios I got to meet some nice people in the television business, Actors and Musicians The Carol Burnett Show, The Tim Conway Show, The Art Linkletter Show, The Smothers Brothers Show, The Glen Cambell Goodtime hour, were there at the time I used to work in the Canteen And I got to make their meals. We had a special salad for Tom and Dick Smothers Brothers and I talked to art while he was getting coffee, I didn't know he was so tall he was over Six feet tall I'm only 4'11. Glen Cambell was very nice I noticed he liked to play Ovation guitars. I got to take Ray Charles to one of the stages to perform. That was a treat, he was a real Gentleman. I was in an all girl band in the 60's I sang and played drums. we almost got signed to orange records a subsidiary of Dot records. we had a maneger in the Sunset Vine Towers. We were going to bring back the song, let the good times roll. my aunt would not sign the contract to do a tour of the state. So I got married in '73 A musician singer songwriter and guitar player, and i had 6 children. I was a clown for 3 years I loved working with children. Now We live in PA our children are musicians in Bands of their own it's in the Blood!

Well I think the weather is changing here in northeast PA. I must say, when it's in the 50's one day then in the teens on the next. My trees are getting confused. the blossoms start then it gets cold....
