Joey Lapino

My name is Joey but you can call me Lapino. I am a 22 year old Cubano. I was born in San Jose California. I spent most of my childhood moving all over the country. I have lived in California, NYC, Virgina, Florida, Arizona, up state NY(Currently), Rock Spring(dont ask). I Spent most of the time between Virgina and NY. When I was about a 11 years old I was introduced to Music and I was instantly hooked. I could not imagine not playing or writing music. I was 14 years old when I started working in the music music scene. I got a job with Step Up Presents. If you are not firmiliar with step up, step up is the company that puts on all of the shows in the capital distric. everything from as far back to the qe2, bogies, valentines, to saratoga winners(rip),the washington ave armory,pepsi arena, glens falls civic center, northern lights. I made alot of friends in the music biz. When I was 18 years old a good friend of mine (Jay Bittner) Offered me a dream job, to go on tour with Shadows fall. I was on cloud 9, So I went on tour. This is what I have worked for my whole life. Due to personal resaon I fucked up and had to fly home. I had lost everything I worked for. As always I picked myself up an started over. I am currently playing drums in Selfish Needy Creatures. I am also currenty playing Guitar in Idols Never Die so be on the look out for IND as well SNC.-------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------I am a family man. Nothing on this planets means more to me then my loved ones. My mother Michelle, My Father Louis Angelo Rodriguez(rip)who was taken from in 1987 I was only 2 years old. I thank the fucking higher power for taking the my only father from me. for this you will never be forgiven. I hate you. I love my Sister Ziana(9 Years old). This is my heart I feel sorry for the person who hurts her. I love my Cousin Fiona(16 years old) The coolest cousin on earth. I love my cousins Lauren and David. I don't get to see or speak to them often but I love them the same. I love my Brother Nick(30 years old)as hard headed and stupid as he can be. My aunt Talia who has always supported me in any task I have taken on. I love my uncle Barry and his dear wife Sue who have taken my sister and my cousin (Fiona) as there own. I am so thankful to have an aunt and uncle as cool and as loving as them. I have a wonderful neice Lia Samone Rodriguez(8 years Old) who will someday be the best guitar player in the world. I love my grandparents (Tanya Cohn, Arnold Cohn) I love my Grand father Eliezer Adoram (Rip) I will never forget the holidays where he would tell the storys and sing the song as only he could do.
