Ska Punk's Finest - Bringing Back '77

About Me

Wiggum - 2002-2004

In a world oversaturated with hardcore and pop rock, Orange County's Wiggum breaks free of that mold, into a world all their own; the world of no holds barred punk rock. Touring constantly, receiving local press and national online coverage, mixed with their DIY attitude has made Wiggum a force to be reckoned with.
In just a couple of years they have played sold-out shows all across California; recorded a collection of catchy punk rock anthems, "Bringing Back '77"; toured across the United States; made two music videos; and gained industry buzz from various labels and other music heavyweights.

D. Jay Brawner started Wiggum back in 2002. Tired of the music scene at the present time, Brawner bass/vocals, wanted to start a band with one sole purpose: to play the music he grew up on. He recruited Mike Amico, formerly the drummer of Melee, from of all places, the Internet, and they began playing together right away. The Two meet Casey Ryder through a mutual friend, after one practice they knew he was the perfect musical match for the band. Ryder adds his charismatic vocal talent and wailing guitar abilities, the three combined make for a very entertaining stage show.

Not just a live band, Wiggum is also business orientated, and often can be found running local shows at several Orange County venues. Many bands locally and nationally can say Wiggum has helped them one way or another. In the summer of 2004, Wiggum released, " The Super Extreme Elimination Compilation," a CD that features twenty-one different bands from California.

Wiggum has played with some of these bands Slick Shoes, NOFX, River City Rebels, Lars Friedricksen and The Bastards, Streetlight Manifesto, Audio Karate, The Matches, The Dingees, Off The Record, Melee,, Hello Goodbye, Near Miss, The Phenomenauts, Groovie Ghoulies, The Know How, Over It, Desa, National Product, Hideki (Members of Atreyu), Facing New York/Locale AM, Short Round, Love=Death, Underminded, Sherwood, As Night Falls and countless others.
WE ARE ALL IN NEW BANDS.
