About Me

..
Hailing from Los Angeles, JGeffen (neé Joseph) has always been a fan of EDM, and first began developing his eclectic taste in electronic music back in the 90s. Always the musician, he played multiple traditional instruments until college, when he started listening to trance, lounge, and house more frequently. Shortly thereafter, he bought his first set of decks and dove headfirst into EDM. Wanting to spread the word about these genres to his friends, he was given a time slot on his college radio station, and hosted his own show ("The Joe Show"). Around the same time, he started planning massive club-themed parties, attracting attendance of 1000+ people. Of course, this required DJs, and because he was the technical director of these parties, he transitioned into DJing and subsequently learned many lessons about basic DJing the hard way. What resulted was a the friendly, humble, and well-rounded DJ that we've come to love, the one known as JGeffen. These days, Joseph continues to surprise his audiences by playing a variety of House music, while still attempting to maintain his eclectic roots by infusing his mixes with elements of other genres.I'm in love with Wolf Shirts.
