"All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible." .. Demand 4ELEVEN with Eventful! .. .. In hiatus for the last 4 years with a lot of guest verses on some noteworthy songs and a few leaked underground songs, the most elusive and anticipated rapper in Los Angeles is my drinking partner at the Yard House in Long Beach. First order of business is the real question everyone is asking, where the hell has he been? " In therapy I think!" he says with a smile as he knocks back a New Castle. " I just been goin thru a lot in the last few years, from my pops and a few homies passin', to dealing with label and industry drama..gettin that feeling that this shit might not work out because everybody either wants a piece of the action or is trying to stop you because they want the shine. Then with hip hop going to shit with what commercial radio has done to the game, I just got that writers block for a minute." And so the drama and dilemas continue in the troubled rappers life but ironically he sees the light this time. After the release of his critically acclaimed debut album "Where The Sun Fallz" and subsequent death of his step father( The only father figure he's ever had.) and close label associate "Young M", he claims to have wanted to leave the rap game, but true artists can never leave what they love behind." I really couldn't and didn't wanna write for a while but the itch gets a you, especially when you hear all these wack fucks droppin shit, you star thinkin to yourself..really? I know I got that ill shit so I just went in the lab by myself and started droppin shit. Once my people start hearin it they like you need to finish that, so now we get to the point where I got like 2 albums worth of material. We droppin a mixtape/streetalbum "The God" this summer and Spring 2010 we droppin the official sophmore joint "Hope Dies Last" I put a whole new team together at my label and got a couple new producers as well as a few of the old ones so the 3rd World sound continues." When I curiously ask why he names his next release "The God" he simply answers " Because I think everyone is the God of their world and thats how I feel right now, like every move I make is what leads to my destiny. I am the God of my universe, come take a listen." And when I finally do, I must admit his music commands attention like God at the Revelation.
