I am a writer of fiction, particularly inspirational/Christian fiction and poetry. I am currently working on some short stories that I hope to have available for purchase soon. I also love music, and hope to be able to be apart of that world one day. Anything that is creative, especially if it uplifts the Lord, I love. I want to lift people up with my words. There is so much stuff out there that either tears you down, or puts you in a sinful state of mind, or even simply dulls your mind. Jesus may not be mentioned in all that I write, but I do my best to still write what He would be proud of. If I can't read it in church, you won't be seeing it.
I've finally come to a place where I am embracing my gift. Before I was bound up in writers block, and in wanting to go in a direction that probably wasn't the best one creatively, or even spiritually. Now I know that I can be a Christian and still write fiction, and I don't have to be preachy, and still reach people and touch hearts. The Lord has given me the honor of being able to bless people with my words. Why keep running away from my calling?
I like to have fun. I can be goofy. Life is too short to be tightly wound all the time. You've got to learn how to live and enjoy your life while you've got it. That is what I intend to do. I want to learn how to play the piano and the guitar. I just love music. If I could just play those instruments, along with a few others, I would be really happy! :) I like reading and writing emails. I'm pretty shy and quiet normally. But, once you get to know me, I'm a lot of fun!
