The Droneys (that's what it is now) are a Seattle-based indie-rock trio fighting the cancer of kiddie-rock and trust-fund fakenpunk with songs that are sometimes sweeping, sometimes snarling, and occasionally gentle. Jeremy Lightfoot was born in Seattle, WA on a rainy morning in January. As a little kid he loved listening to his dad's record collection on those giant beige headphones from the 70's. His favorites included Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 and Jim Hensons Muppet Christmas with John Denver.
Cameron Brownfield is also a Seattle native and knows his way around a bowl of pickled herring. Despite a strong Scandinavian background he started playing guitar at the age of 11. He spent time in the nineties with the seminal experimental hip-hop group Hillpeople, co-founded the still-kicking Trwst & the Puget Sound Machine, and is currently living on Capitol Hill with his girl and no cats.

For some reason Myspace can't handle apostrophes in some fields. Just imagine where they should be and know that we wish the little guys could be there too. Cameron would also like you to know that Jeremy listens to a lot of Morrissey. Seriously.
