"I am surviving Georgia. Who knew? The red dirt and little white churches everywhere.The overwhelming heat of summer ,critters that crawl or fly and they all bite.For me, whose home is the northwest area and Alaska, I'm pretty proud of myself.*smile* There are some good things about Georgia. The flowery smell that steams up from the flora after a good thunderstorm...southern gentlemen,(yes, girls, they do exist)...hymm singing...learning how to say "ya'll come back now, ya hear." Trucks.yep...I like trucks now, course I'd have to paint flowers all over it and peace signs.But this has become my home, and I'm learning that, "no matter where you go, there YOU are."Some things I believe;
I believe what Mahatma Ghandi once said; "When I dispair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won.
There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall, think of it, always."I believe we have only borrowed this earth from our children and our children's children. And we have made a mess of things.....like the raven, I want to fly and caw, "Its time, its time!" yes, we have very little time left to clean up the mess.I believe that the smell of a newborn baby's head, soft pillows, red capes, exotic tea's , flowing hippie skirts, dark chocolate, color everywhere, being still as you can be when a hummingbird comes close, red wine, yellow butterflys, a good hug, words of kindness, paying it forward, slipping into clean white sheets that have been dried in the sun, the smell and sound and sight of the ocean, a lovers first kiss, and dancing whenever you can, all these things can cure whatever ails you, my friends."He who binds to himself a joy
Does the winged Life destroy,
but he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in in Eternity's Sunrise." --William Blake
