About Me

Chalkie and Estel Moore are the main characters in a series of comedy shorts called "Nightowls" that were written,produced and directed by Jon Oglesby and Troy Greenwalt in the late 80's and early 90's.Despite limited distribution and being filmed with an 8mm camcorder mostly with bad lighting,sound,and an air conditioner sometimes running in the background the films gained a small cult following.Chalkie and Estle are brothers who run a wrecker service called Nightowls (they give a hoot 24 hours a day) despite the fact that they don't own a truck (a fact that is a never ending thorn in the side of Estle).In truth they will do almost any odd job to make money to save the home their momma left them.They always get in over their heads but somehow always find away out of a ruff or tuff situation.There has been some talk of a "Nightowls" revival,maybe feedback from the fans and the curious on this site will help bring that about.Thank you and please tell your friends and family and even your enemies.
