AMERICAN EXPRESS CANCER LAWSUIT

I started this page to make people aware of how American Express treats their loyal clients and shareholders. Please read this letter than will be appearing in this week's New York Times. Any feedback support is greatly appreciated. Together we will win against these hugely corrupt corporations.DEAR ALL AMERICAN EXPRESS SHAREHOLDERS,I am writing to inform you about the operations of your company. I have been a cardmember and share holder since 1974 in which I felt American Express has been an asset to my company until recently. I own an entertainment company with my son and decided to open up a small business account with American Express. Recently our accounts were frozen due to security concerns. When I called to inquire about the issues, I spoke to a supervisor in the Ft. Lauderdale Office Thomas Wilks. Beyond the abrasiveness, I asked him to speak slowly because I am currently going through Chemotherapy for Prostate Cancer. His very next response was “If you are dying Mr.Sabo, how can we expect that you can pay your debts to American Express?” From there he said "There is no way I can keep your accounts active with your current medical situation, I am now cancelling them!"I had told him that I would prefer that he speaks with my attorney to resolve this matter. After his demands to know who my doctor’s were and what hospital I am being treated at, I decided to inform him that my attorney will be calling him. He has since avoided all contact with us, our accounts remain completely froozen, and we have lost two deals accordingly. Most importantly I am now left with the most undesirable feeling of depression and regret for having cancer. Although his comments have been hurtful it leaves me with a worse feeling that there is a great possibility I will leave tremendous financial burdens to my family in case of my death.Please be aware that the continuation of American Express falling profits are certainly being contributed by the actions of their employees toward their card members. I am writing this not for pity but for awareness that we cannot except this type of treatment for our loyalty. Too many companies these days take advantage of their clients to a point where the greed has overgrown the principals which made the company successful.
