I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Big Lick-Green Drinks is the Salem-based branch of the international group, Green Drinks, which started in London. You can find out more info, and see where other groups are at: www.greendrinks.org. Our group aims to increase eco-awareness and consciousness through our monthly social meetings, and perhaps by expanding out through other ways. We're a very laid back and informal group, we believe just because you are an environmentalist you don't have to be always be protesting something to get together with other environmentalists! ha ha ha - There are no fees to join, no requirements of any kind.Get this widget! My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"Greenies" interested in eco-concerns, issues, and topics. All are welcome: from the eco-hip urbanite to the organic gardener, from the lifelong activist to the newly-eco-minded. We have begun having speakers, and things are always changing. We are looking to continue to become more active in our community, because we sincerely believe in the importance and power of doing something. There is nothing wrong with being social AND environmental.
