Dying Kind
Former members of Factor IX, Engrind, Todds Point, Phoenix Perdition and 1080 come together to form Dying Kind in February 2005. Two of the members had played together in Louisville metal band "Mindstorm" from around 1992 to 1996 and released one full length recording in 1995 titled "Systematic Decline". Working together for those years gave them some insight into each others strengths and styles, which will benefit them in the future upon the formation of Dying Kind.
The band's outlook with the Dying Kind project was to draw upon their root influence as well as current influences to form an interesting and solid 'metal' sound. The vocals of former Engrind vocalist TJ Thomas rounds out their sound and lends an interesting and energetic vocal approach to the music.
Dying Kind went to the studio to work with Paul Hart (Demoking Productions) in November of 2005 to record three songs for promotion. The songs are titled "Force Of One", "Nothing", and "Erase The Nation", and will be available to the public December 2005
