About Me

I am leaving my job in December to be what I've always wanted - a stay at home wife/writer/kitty mom. I'm so excited!! We're also moving in January-ish '08 so I'm stoked about that. I want a pool so bad!! Life is great, even when it's not, and I'm grateful for each new day and the joys/sorrows it brings.I love animals and have been a vegetarian since March '07. I really do not miss meat at all! It still smells great though, I hope one day that goes away. I'm really into wine and plan to begin making it after we move. Reds are my fave - Cabernet Sauvingnon, Shiraz, and Menage a Trois which is a mix of 3 wines. I also discovered some whites I really enjoy - reisling and viognier. I love a good wine and a square of really quality, really dark chocolate. I love coffee too. I change a lot and I like it. I get bored easily but I'm also entertained easily... go figure! myspace layouts

My Interests

What Famous Leader Are You?
personality tests by similarminds.com I love to hear stories from people about how God has worked in their lives. I love to spoil my kitties, and helping my sister be a loving, strong, inependant woman. I enjoy swimming and just marvelling at creation. I also love decorating and improving my home. My camera recently broke but I take a bizillion pics of everything. Wine is also an interest and I hope to make it a hobby soon. Cooking is also something I find fun. I love making up recipes and surfing for new ones on the web that I'll probably never make. Oh! And I LOOOOOOOVE Indian food!!

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet Jesus and my angels, the ones who took the wheel before a dump truck plowed into me... when I couldn't see around the bend. I'd love to meet some successful writers and pick their brains - and more funny people. You can never know too many people who make you smile and laugh all the time!

Music:

Your Aura is Yellow
Your Personality: Life's too short not to have fun. Your bright energy brings joy and laughter to those around you.

You in Love: A total flirt, you need a lot of freedom to play. But you'll be loyal to that one man who makes you feel safe.

Your Career: You love variety in a job, and you probably won't stick with one career. You would make a great professor, writer, or actress. What Color Is Your Aura?Anything mellow or with a good message. I only like happy music, really.Jason Mraz - he has a passion for life and I dig it. Bob Dylan - old school fave. The Beatles - gotta love 'em. Cross Movement - Woo Hoo! I'm such a white girl but I LOVE these guys. I love a good beat, and an even better message.

Movies:

Blades of Glory, Young Frankenstein, Napoleon Dynamite, Saul of Tarsus, Narnia, Moulin Rouge, basically anything funny or with a great story.

Television:

House, Friends, Eureka, South Park, Psych, Property Ladder

Books:

Anything by CS Lewis, anything by Terry Brooks, Clive Barker, and the Harry Potter series. I like fantasy, sci-fi but not too geeky, and anything that makes you really think without clogging up your brain with useless crap.

Heroes:

Jesus, obviously. Not for what we think He is but for what He is. Mankind has horribly distorted His life and teachings. He is a kind man, a friend to prostitutes and theives, a man who said Love is the most important law there is. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself. If we could just apply that in our lives - just that one teaching out of thousands - the world would be a MUCH better place!

My little ones and me, in the morning

So pathetic - A rant and a plea

The book The Golden Compass was introduced to me by a man with a literary fetish and the very nice husband of a close friend. I never read it, knowing that I have no inclination to support someone wit...

You don't need a Weatherman to know which way the wind blows. BD

I haven't written a blog in quite a while a real one at least. I'm not sure why. I've been trying to think of the reason to no avail. I have speculations, though. The first one is that I'm busy, whi...

Where's the Christmas cheer?

Why am I not in the Christmas spirit? A few years ago I had my whole place decked out and lit up before Halloween! This year I don't really care. The lights are pretty, but I'm not really stoked about...

Still so sad

I am still so sad about Jasper. I loved him so much. I don't know what to do with myself. I just miss him. So, in lieu of words, here is my tribute - just like I did for Ranma. I still pray that he co...
