I am one of seven children born to my parents in Kingston Jamaica. I was encouraged to have practical pursuits even though music and the arts were my hearts desire.
I attended Howard University where I studied Dental Hygiene. Later, I earned a degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland. Then one day, some years later, I woke up and said "Mama, I want to sing"! And that was the start of my life changing adventure.
I am now living in NYC. After completing a program at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, I'm in hot pursuit of a career on Broadway, Television and Film. I could tell you that "Life is short", "You only live once", "There's no better time than the present", but, you know what the deal is; you had better do what you know you were born to do or you'll live the rest of your life regretting YOUR decision not to try.
