Punch In Mouth!

Il gruppo viene messo su nel Gennaio 2006 da Luca Lattari e Simone Santoro. Il progetto iniziale prevedeva Luca alla voce e al basso e Simone alla chitarra. Dopo un periodo di quasi un anno passato a cercare altri componenti, nel Maggio 2007, entra nel gruppo Fabio Amoroso alla batteria. I tre, dopo una serie di concerti cover, decidono di creare pezzi originali. In quel lasso di tempo nascono buoni pezzi ma che comunque mancavano di consistenza data la presenza di una sola chitarra. Per rimediare al problema,nel Novembre 2007, il gruppo decide di assegnare il basso a Marco Geremia (che prima supportava il gruppo nelle prove con consigli e accorgimenti utili alla buona riuscita del pezzo) con il passaggio di Luca alla chitarra elettrica. A fine Gennaio 2008 la band registra il primo demo (We Want Vendetta! Ep). Dopo l' ascolto del cd, la band si rese conto che mancava qualcosa alla registrazione per esaltare l'energia dei pezzi. Serviva un cantante con un timbro di voce più melodico. 3 mesi dopo, precisamente nell' Aprile 2008, Leonardo Nicola Franco (conosciuto tramite un annuncio su internet) entra a far parte della band nelle vesti di cantante, completando così la formazione dei Punch in Mouth. A Ottobre 2008 il gruppo comincia la pre produzione (curata nelle vesti di produttore da Luca Fareri) per la realizzazione del loro nuovo ep “Space Punk EP”. Nel Dicembre del 2008 Simone prende la decisione di lasciare la band per motivi personali. Il ruolo di secondo chitarrista viene affidato a Leonardo che ora ricopre il ruolo di cantante chitarrista. Il 5 giugno 2009 vengono ultimati gli ultimi mixaggi del demo. Lo "Space Punk Ep" è finalmente completato.
Luca Lattari and Simone Santoro founded the band in January 2006.At the beginning Luca was the lead singer and he played the bass and Simone played the guitar. After one year they decided to look for other musicians.In May 2007 Fabio Amoroso join the band as drummer. After a period of a cuple months in which they played just songs of other bands they decided to compose their songs. In that span of time they composed good songs but they figured out that the power of their songs was too weak.They needed another guitarist to face the lack of an enough sound’s power. In november 2007 Marco Geremia became the bass man and Luca Lattari the second guitarist. In January 2008 the band recorded their first demo. After has been listening it, the band understood the necessity to look for a new singer,because they needed someone with a voice more adeguate with their musical genre,they needed a singer with a melodic voice. In April 2008 Leonardo Franco join the band as the lead singer. In October 2008 the band started to work for their second demo, the “Space Punk Ep”,with Luca Fareri as fonic and producer of the band. In December 2008 Simone leave the band,the place of guitarist has been given to Leonardo. The 5th june 2009 the “Space Punk Ep” has been completed.
