YAY Dreadheads!!Jason's music career started in 5th grade (although he didn't know it at the time) where he was in the chorus and started playing drums. In high school he was in a band and of course was the drummer. He graduated in 2005 and went on to college at Texas A & M at College Station where he started playing the guitar because he didn't have his drums with him and was obsessed with music. Jason was the drummer for a band called Keeping Lions. They are no longer a band but you can check their music out at www.myspace.com/keepinglions. Jason was also a regular on Cheyenne Kimball's reality MTV show. Then "fast forward" 2 years and here he was on American Idol where he stole his fans hearts by singing "Daydreaming Boy" "Hallelujah" and "Over the Rainbow" just to name a few. Jason writes his own music as well. He is just an all around talented guy, very humble, loves to serve others and is the epitomy of an American Idol! America deserves a guy like Jason Castro!!!!!!!! We love you Jason!!!!!!!!!Jason is the most awesome AI that AI has ever seen!! He loves his fans and updates them weekly! He loves signing autographs and posts videos on his weekly date night with his fans.Most recently, Jason has performed a couple of show! He performed at a charity event in Garland, TX and in March he went back to his roots and performed at College Station, TX at the Texas A&M campus. His band consists of himself, Dave, Adam and Kevin and most recently Jason signed with Atlantic Records!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
