------------Co-owner of Swedish label Gaymonkey Records, Melnyk’s minimal, melodic blend of electronic pop music has earned praise from DJs and fans worldwide. Born in Canada, he now lives in south London and DJs regularly across Scandinavia, Canada and the UK.’Silence’ is Melnyk’s debut album. Critically acclaimed in the UK (with ’album of the month’ accolades from every reputable publication on the shelf), it contains three singles that have stirred up dance music circles globally - ’Art of Seduction’, ’Strut’ and ’Fabulous’ - and won over fans as diverse as Ivan Smagghe, Neil Tennant, DJ Hell, Mark Moore, JoJo de Freq, Rob Mello and Larry Tee.His remix credits include the hit ’Heavy Petting Mix’ of the Pet Shop Boys single ’I’m With Stupid’ (selected for their ’Fundamentalism’ album), Ebb, My Robot Friend, Temposhark, Napsugar (Beautycase Records) + a host of productions for Gaymonkey.
