Now, Shabazz is nationally known in the DJ community as a member of CORE DJs where he travels around the country to perform at nightclubs, private parties, comedy tours and colleges to provide music to everyone. From 1992 to the present, Shabazz toured with HBO’s Def Jam College Comedy Tour and Midcoast Entertainment’s “Laff Jam”, in which comedians Rickey Smiley, Mike Epps, Dee Ray Davis, Earthquake, Alex Thomas & Michael Collier and many more.Shabazz’ tremendous skills landed him the title of “The Official DJ of the Los Angeles Clippers” in which he and L.A. Clippers Corey & Jimmie Maggette, have hosted several NBA private events. He has also been a DJ for other celebrity parties including: Mya’s Pre-Thanksgiving Party; NBA All-Star Parties hosted by Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal, Dewayne Wade’s Rookie Draft Event, Lendal White and Reggie Bush’s NFL Draft Party; Russell Simmons’ Phat Farm Sneaker & Suit Party; and the Vibe Awards After Party you get the picture cause there more....More recently, Shabazz hosted weekends on Carnival’s Christmas Season Kick-Off Cruise in the Bahamas.
