Based out of Oxnard, California, Non-Stop is an all-male dance crew with roots that lie 12 years ago in 1995. The foundation of the original team was laid by their experience on the Channel Islands All-Male Dance Team from 1995-1998. The original team, though short lived, accomplished becoming the Import Showoff Dance Krew Champions in May 1997 and the Import Exclusive Dance Krew Champions in January 1998, during a time where the hip hop dance scene used the import car scene as an outlet to compete in. After going their separate ways to pursue other dreams, tragedy hit a few years later as the guys lost their fellow friend, teammate and captain: Jason Allen.
In February of 2005, the JAM (Jason Allen Memorial) Center opened its doors to the youth of Oxnard to pursue dance as a positive outlet. It was then that fellow members of the original Non-Stop Dance Crew approached the new generation of Channel Islands All-Male Alumni in hopes to reestablish Non-Stop once again in the hip hop dance scene, continuing Jason Allen's dream.
The next generation Non-Stop Dance Crew reestablished itself in March of 2005 and made their first appearance at a showcase dedicated to Jason Allen. The reintroduction of Non-Stop into the hip hop dance scene took place at Ultimate Brawl 6 and then at Body Rock 2006. The new generation strives to reinvent itself, to be innovative yet still remember their roots, while working out the kinks and wrinkles of trying to rebuild a legacy. We are honored to carry on the name: Non-Stop.
