About Me
Eric Jacob started his musical career in Trinidad at approximately 14 years of age. He began by playing the steel pan with numerous steel orchestras such as Kalamo Kings, T&TEC Motown, Vat 19 FonClare, Pleasantville Senior Comprehensive School Steel Orchestra, Dansteel South Stars, and Trintoc Invaders. He later went on to lead vocalize for several conventional bands which includes Air Force, Traffik, Roy Cape All Stars, Charlie's Roots, and Question. Because of Eric's extended tour schedules and performances spanding over a fifteen years period within the Caribbean, United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, North America and England, he has gain, and crafted a wealth of knowledge and experience. His first composition came while being a member of the group Traffik titled the Freedom Song, which was written & Co-Produce by Eric for the group Traffik, followed by his first production a couple years later titled Choke Choke for the group Question. It was evident at that point that Eric's arranging and production abilites became that of class. He relocated to Miami Florida where he started his home base Recording Studio Pro Tools HD3 Accel System. Not only was he delivering cutting tracks for himself, but such artists as Giselle the wassy one, Marlon Stylish Thompson, Nubien Prince and Lisa Pike featuring Sista Ron. Eric has opted to remain Florida base with a burning desire to provide the highest quality workmanship into each and every project, as well as the very best audio tracks available through experience, expertise, and the use of high quality equipment. Eric is very enthusiastic about working with a cross section of artists in the styles of Soca, Reggae, R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel and even latin, and further look forward to a long and sucessful career doing what he is truly passionate about and loves the most '' Creating Memorable Music''.
