Described on the Quebec Punk website as "The UK's most cuddly subversive and articulate garage-trash-art-punks...and occasional country and westerners", The Sindys have been developing their unique brand of paranoid-outsider Rock 'n' Roll for over a decade. In that time they have wowed audiences from Normandy to Grimsby, appeared in many strange Radio and TV corners across the globe and supported artists as diverse as Half Man Half Biscuit, Arno, John Cooper Clarke, Billy ze Kick and The UK Subs. As well as a string of EP's that started with the early 90's classic Camp Launderette, they have appeared on bizarre and wonderful compilations (and BMX stunt videos) in the USA, Canada and Japan. The Sindys live experience has always been one of buzz-saw energy, plaintive anxiety and the downright unexpected, ranging from the early antics of the Go-Go dancers from Hell to the bone-breaking, guitar-bouncing white-noise-explosions of late. Occasionally, compadres from the Trailer Trash Orchestra will join them to augment the more tequila soaked moments and recorded tracks have featured massed kids chorus and recorder sections. Expect the unexpected and a bunch of fun!The Sindys are also part of the UK's finest country-trash collective The Trailer Trash Orchestra - see Kinfolk at www.trashville.co.ukGrae J. Sindy is also the promoter for Trashville events and Club Attitude - www.clubattitude.co.uk and can also be found at www.myspace.com/graejwall
