Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Illnoiz aka Thomas Sellers was raised in a military home by his loving mother Linnea and his stepfather Jeff. At the age of 4 his journey began as him and his family would move place to place for good portion of his life. At the age of 7 he moved to Alameda, California and that is where he found his first love… Hip-Hop! He wrote his first rap at the age of 8, although overwhelmingly wack, he felt the need to get started early ha-ha. His early influences definitely were from the west, with Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and the release of Dr. Dre’s The Chronic, Illnoiz had some of Hip-hops greatest icons in his blood at a young age. He later moved to Geneva, IL with his Grandparents and then to Stuttgart, Germany where he was able to experience life outside the US. When he finally got to high school he figured out what he wanted to do… rap. With Roger Hunter beat-boxing, he started freestyling with MobC and Eric in the lunchroom where he began slaying mufuckas ha-ha. After maturing from battle-mode he figured, if he wanted to make a living he would have to make tracks, and that meant beats. He mastered FL studio then it was off to school to master his craft. After 2 and a half years he graduated middle of his class academically (fuck’em) and top of his beat-making class (Bitches!). He came back home, met up with 5ive and Mystery and the rest is history.
