About Me

"The Daisy Room" is now available! The album has nine tracks and will cost £5. Please contact me to purchase an album, it will soon be available to download on iTunes.A review by Rufus Stone, printed in March 2007. Taken from POUCH MagazineThe first time Hayley astonished me was during an after hours drinking session back in 2002. She sang "Change in me", and whilst a moment ago somebody I thought was this cool, nice but sometimes shy girl, was suddenly revealed as one of the most original and gifted singer songwriters I'd ever met. She continues to astonish me. Hayley has carved herself a niche as a musicians favourite in Hastings. Her infrequent live outings are always well attended by her contemporaries and their respect for her has led to guest appearances on several albums and on live events. She is shortly to go into our studio and record her first album of deeply affecting acoustic folk songs. I'm excited about this because while I'm surrounded by talented people Hayley is the real deal. Never derivative, she is constantly setting herself what would seem unachievable goals and then surpassing them both in her songwriting and guitar playing. We went into the studio to record some rough sketches for the album and, rough as they are, listening back to them I can't help feeling that they sound perfect. We were inspired to put a band together of some of the best musicians Hastings has to offer just for these sessions. We all know that the end product will be astounding. Hayley will be playing live soon, don't miss out.Rufus Stone.
