The DAPP Convention is an urban networking convention that Green Eye Events & Promotions is bringing to the North West entertainment scene. Look out for the first convention coming soon (2009). This convention will be set up for Djs, Artists, Producers, and Promoters to network with one another, observe a panel of professionals, attend a number of different workshops and classes on subjects such as Promoting 101 or Music Marketing, see live performances, and once a year at DAPP's largest convention, an award show with honors to convention attendees. BIO:
Life hasn‘t been easy for the founder of Green Eye Events & Promotions she is now seeing the horizon of success. But without struggle, there is no progress. Her own hard work and dedication were the only things that she knew would guarantee her a bright future, and especially coming from humble backgrounds; working class families with often turbulent financial times. Nothing was ever handed to her. She has been taught to create her own opportunities and work to earn her place in life. She was taught to be a go-getters, set high standards, and demand respect without having to verbally demand anything. Demanding their place in the entertainment world would not be any easier, but her eagerness to find another avenue to achieve success in life after experiencing some of the trials and tribulations of growing up in a poor, negative environment and exposed to the hustling streets of south Seattle. Brittany Eaton and whatever her dreams are, is prepared and determined to make them happen.* * *
Eaton graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English from the University of Washington in June of 2008, and will be entering law school in the near future to become an entertainment lawyer with ambitions of making partner by the age of 30. Eaton plans to further her education as well as build Green Eye Events & Promotions, which will be celebrating its new beginning with a launch party in 2009.* * *
Eaton has exceptional people skills and while brainstorming ideas for her business, she is looking to work with people on a larger scale and still maintain face-to-face relations. On one easy morning on the 9th day of February, 2008 Eaton put her ideas of the future into a reality of the future. Starting Green Eye Events & Promotions was the first step in paving the foundation for her road to success, demanding all room necessary to grow and showing no sign of intimidation in a male dominated industry. And definitely no signs of them going anywhere else but up. Months of words and talking have now become action. Mission One accomplished. Now it's time to Eaton is ready to shine by all means necessary.
